Here's a little tut showing u how:
It doesn't automatically select the pattern/paper. You have to select it, just like you would when you pick a solid color for your text. The paper just happened to be the last one I used.
The one we use for solid colors is that little paintbrush one next to "Fill." Pattern option (for using papers or textures is the icon with what look like 9 mini squares. It is to the right of the solid icon, in between the gradient and null icons.
What I did with the paper is very similar to how people make cool looking text with gradients. I included that too. Same concept as using a paper/pattern except your gradients are already loaded into PSP.
